So its off to blog land I go. And what do I find? A creepily wonderful modification on the wall art project I did over the weekend!
Madigan Made did a wall art project that I loved, but don't think I have extra frames laying around at the moment, so I modified it a bit, and used it, instead of a picture using basically the same method from the creepy wall art project. I printed her picture (she was so gracious to provide a link thingy to get it!) and spray painted a piece of cardboard black. Problem is... too much black. I wanted a 'mat' type thing for it, like i did with the others, but didn't want to sit and try to get the same color red. Google Images to the rescue! I googled the term 'blood red' on google images and found this. PERFECT!
1) print this (Courtesy of Madigan Made)on a regular sized piece of heavy weight paper
2) print this Right click on the image, click save as, and save to your computer. Then open that file, and select print.
3) cut down the bite. drink. scare picture to be smaller than the red and black picture. center and glue
4) Take a large piece of cardboard (in this case I used a pizza box lid) and spray paint it black.
5) once dry, glue your printed materials to the box!
6) Youre done! Unless you want to add ribbon to hang it. Or, wood scraps to make a frame. or... well, you get the idea! Make it yours!!!
